Here is what the Armoire looks like now. :) The person who purchased it requested that I paint the doors. I like it!



Paint the doors?? Or Not?

I am really at a loss with this one. I carefully taped the doors to leave the wood exposed, but now can't decide if I like it or not? What would you do? I know cream is boring, but it seems easier to flip. :) And this is for sale.



Whoa,this could be a keeper!

I picked up a new armoire this weekend and I was going to refinish and sell it. Now that I have started working on it, I may have to keep it...............at least for a while. This one will probably be pretty conservative color because I find those easier to sell and it will work in my house for the time being. :)

How Much Do You Charge?

Here lately I have been asked for quotes to refinish some furniture. I was offering this as a service when I first started my blog, but then stopped as I found myself enjoying finding my own treasures and refinishing them at my own pace. The past few weeks I have had folks asking for quotes in my neighborhood, so I thought, why not? I gave my quotes and never heard back from any of them. I was not asking for hundreds of dollars and in fact under $200 for some larger items. I am guessing folks may not realize the work that goes into a great job. I will go back to what I love doing and not give out anymore quotes, but I'm just curious. What do you guys charge for your services?
