What's In A Name?

When I first started my blog I never really intended on having followers or growing my blog. In fact, it was my way of selling the things that we refinished and we were selling locally. I really chose the name of the blog very quickly and had the name reflect where I live in Queen Creek Arizona.
Since that time, I have spent more time growing the blog and quite frankly I'm not too happy with the name I chose. It's way too long for one thing and it just doesn't say who we are or what we do. Can you change the name of a blog and still keep followers ect? Does anyone have any info or opinions on the blog name? I would love to hear from you.

Hi Shannon, I see that you're advertising Pottery Barn :) I better click on it! I understand thae name change thing....just go with what feels right. How about Queen of Shabby Chic or Shabby Chic Queen...am I being helpful?

Change it now before you get bigger...shorten it...keep the same feel and look...just tweak it a little.

I feel ya. I'm thinking of changing my blog name too since it doesn't really say what I do either. But I actually like your name. Good luck though, I'm sure you'll find something you like. *Also I've seen blogs that have changed their names and when you put in their old name it defaults to the new one...I don't know how to do it but I know it can be done. :)

I think just call it "Shabby to Chic" and you could "Furniture Renewals" or something as a tag line. Short and sweet is what catches the eye! :)
