I find this interesting.

I love to look at things online and consider myself an internet junkie. I sign up for every kind of deal website that is out there as well as fashion and home furnishing websites too. I recently signed up for a home website, that shall remain nameless, and came across some interesting finds. Lots of vintage furniture and home décor at ridiculous prices. The funny part is, I see you guys do this stuff all the time with flea market and thrift store merchandise and your stuff looks better. I decided to give you guys a look at what I found and see what ridiculous prices some folks will pay for things that we sell for cheap.
First up is this lovely vintage buffet
It sold out at a price of...............$1599

Next up we have this amazing vintage root beer sign
It sold at a mere $679

And last but not least I found something I have passed over many times at thrift stores and yard sales. A vintage angel wall hanging.
This little lovely sold for a mere...............$255

AMAZING!
Make it a great day

Progress

Since the summers in Arizona are so hot and my garage does not have air conditioning, I am only working on projects in the mornings and evenings. Today is supposed to be 112 and I am sure this evening will be hot in the garage as well. I am making progress on my latest treasure and here are the most recent pictures that I took this afternoon. I am really excited about the detail in this door.

I love making candles

I love crafts and one of my favorite things to make is candles. I love the smell that fills my home when I am making them and I love giving them to my friends. I started making candles with a mold, but most recently I have started making them from wine bottles. It is so much fun and each one takes a few days to make. They are made with Essential oils and paraffin wax and smell lovely.

New Project

When I saw this dresser at a local thrift store, I fell in love with some of the details in the woodwork and the design. It had good bones and the price was great so I decided to take it home. A mishap on the way and the 2 bottom drawers are in pieces. Yes, I forgot to secure them on the way back. I am hoping that I can salvage them, but if not, I am still going to finish this dresser. I thought of making the missing drawers a cubby at the top, but I think that may look silly since the middle part is there.
Here is the before. Notice the middle and the great pattern it has.
There is a small chip on the top, but that is an easy fix.
