I ended up being a very busy girl this past weekend. Here is what I spent the entire weekend working on............

I got this dresser just for the handles. Love them!

This would be great for a kids room and since I don't have kids, it's for sale.

How Much Do You Charge?

Here lately I have been asked for quotes to refinish some furniture. I was offering this as a service when I first started my blog, but then stopped as I found myself enjoying finding my own treasures and refinishing them at my own pace. The past few weeks I have had folks asking for quotes in my neighborhood, so I thought, why not? I gave my quotes and never heard back from any of them. I was not asking for hundreds of dollars and in fact under $200 for some larger items. I am guessing folks may not realize the work that goes into a great job. I will go back to what I love doing and not give out anymore quotes, but I'm just curious. What do you guys charge for your services?

Don't Laugh At Me!

A while back I got this end table from a store near my house.



I fell in love with the handles and had to take it home. All the while, my best friend was laughing and saying I shouldn't buy it. But look at the front of this baby! It's awesome. After many weeks of sitting in my garage, I finally got around to giving it a bit of a facelift. Here is what it looks like today.

Sorry for the bad pictures, but it has been raining here in sunny AZ and the lighting is bad inside and out. This is also a big departure from what I normally do, so let me know what you think.

Starving For Attention

I found this little guy recently and the only thing he needed was a little TLC. This little table went from something someone would toss in the trash, to the perfect little coffee table.

I just can't get enough of stained tops with painted wood underneath. This combo always sells very well and this one sold fast!
