Thank you for stopping by my shabby blog. My name is Shannon and I live in beautiful Arizona with my fiancé Kenny, my lovely dog Annabelle and 3 energetic cats. Chlo-ee, Zo-ee and Bodi. I get comments all the time from friends that were unaware I could refinish furniture to make it look so cute. My answer was always the same…….” Hell I didn’t know either!”. I actually didn’t realize it until my divorce. I found myself single for the first time since I was 18 years old. Not much money in the bank, but an attitude of pure bliss. So it turns out that not only have I discovered a love for someone else’s junk, but a great partner in my fiancé Kenny, who helps me with every project, taking on all the little things that I don’t find fun. Especially sanding! My joy comes from every gem I find that can be transformed into something fabulous. Not only have I found my true passion by “accident”, but I have found a new and exciting way of making everything in my home unique, beautiful and one of a kind.
